What To Expect

We want to be Your Pet’s Family Doctor.

We appreciate the opportunity to provide quality healthcare for your pet. As a new client of Western Hills Animal Hospital, you can expect our full attention to your pets needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly by our receptionist.

She will ask you to fill out a new client form or you may copy one off from our forms section and bring it with you to your appointment. It will take a few minutes to process your information into the computer. She will ask about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit. She will then usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet.

You will then be greeted by the Veterinarian of your choice and the technician. The Veterinarian will fully examine your pet, ask any further medical questions and then recommend diagnostic tests if needed.

Please feel free to ask any questions or for price quotes at any time during the process. We will gladly give price quotes for diagnostic work-ups upon request. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you are completely comfortable with the information being provided.

After all the diagnostic tests and treatment have been performed, our veterinary team will wrap up the examination by providing you with helpful pet care information and answering any of your wellness and care questions. Our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any necessary follow-up examinations.

Please note: Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time. We strive to keep unexpected time delays to a minimum.
